Rental Policies

By booking with KeepSnap, you agree to the following rental policies. These terms are designed to keep your experience smooth while protecting our cameras, decor, and future events.

Instant Camera Bundles – Rental Policy

By booking, the renter agrees to the following:

Security Deposit: $50 per camera and held until return inspection. Refunded via original payment method if camera is intact. Deductions for damage incur documented charges.

Your security deposit is fully refundable once all rented items are returned on time and in the agreed condition. If everything is returned as expected, the deposit will be sent back to you via original payment method of your booking.

Return: Must be to the directed location before 2:00PM the following day after rental end. Late returns incur extra fees or lost-booking charges (see Butterfly clause).

Inspection: We inspect the camera(s) within 1-2 business days after return. If no damage beyond normal wear is found, we refund the $50 deposit promptly. Any damage or missing parts are documented and billed.

Damage: Normal wear (minor scuffs/cleaning) is not charged. Chargeable damage includes broken/cracked parts, scratched lens/viewfinder, malfunctioning shutter/flash, and water/liquid damage. Missing accessories (cap, strap, battery, etc.) are charged at replacement cost.

Lost/Stolen: If the camera is not returned, renter pays full replacement cost (deposit applied first; remaining balance invoiced).

Butterfly-Effect Liability Clause: Renter is liable for cascading effects. For example, if a late return forces cancellation of another booking, you agree to reimburse the lost rental fee.

KeepSnap reserves the right to change or cancel bookings at any time upon our discretion.

Instant Print Bar Rentals – Rental Policy

By booking, the renter agrees to the following:

Setup & Teardown: KeepSnap handles full setup/teardown of the table, decor, cameras, and film. Setup details (location, timing) confirmed in advance. Renter ensures venue access at agreed times.

Camera Security Deposit: $50/camera, held until return inspection. Covers damage/loss of cameras and rented items (excl. consumables). Refunded via original payment method if inspection passes. Damage deductions require documentation.

Condition of Items: Tables, decor, props, cameras, and accessories must remain re-rentable (film, postcards, paperclips excluded, as consumables).

Normal wear (minor scuffs, light cleaning): no charge
Damage (stains, burns, tears, cracks, missing items, excessive dirt, or repair-requiring conditions): chargeable

Camera Damage: Includes drops, impact, misuse-related malfunction, missing parts, and liquid exposure.

Film Usage: Film is consumable. Used packs are chargeable, not required to be returned unused.

Loss, Theft, or Missing Items: Renter is responsible for all items during the event. Missing/stolen items charged at full replacement value.

Inspection & Deposit Return: Items inspected post-teardown. Deposits returned within 1–3 business days if no issues found. Damages deducted with documentation.

Liability Clause: Renter accepts full responsibility for direct/indirect loss from misuse, damage, or interference with equipment — including third-party claims, replacement costs, and business losses (e.g., inability to fulfill future bookings due to damaged items).

Media & Marketing Consent: By booking, you consent to KeepSnap capturing photo/video at your event for marketing (Instagram, TikTok, website). Used solely for KeepSnap's own marketing. To opt out, notify KeepSnap in writing 7+ days before your event.

General Responsibility

Renter is responsible for guest use of equipment. KeepSnap may substitute items of equal value, and reserves the right to change or cancel bookings at its discretion. Refunds will be assessed accordingly.

Late Returns

To ensure availability for the next event, please return equipment on time. Late fees apply per day after the scheduled return date unless pre-arranged.

Cancellation Policy

CARE & FLEXIBILITY

72+ Hours Notice

Cancel more than 72 hours before your rental start time and you’ll receive a full refund of your rental fee. Your security deposit is fully returned. 2.5% Credit card fee will be taken off the refund amount.

72 to 48 Hours Notice

Cancel within 72 to 48 hours of your rental start time and 50% of your rental fee will be charged. Your security deposit is fully returned. 2.5% Credit card fee will be taken off the refund amount.

48 Hours or Less

Cancellations made 48 hours or less before the rental start time are non-refundable. However, your security deposit will still be fully returned. 2.5% Credit card fee will be taken off the refund amount.

Note: Regardless of the cancellation timing, all security deposits are returned in full provided no equipment was dispatched. 2.5% Credit card fee will be taken off the refund amount.
